This was shot just west of Elburn Illinois. Union Pacific delivers these trains via Chicago where they hand the train to Candian National, they take it into Canada via Detroit.

There’s no way this is meant to be a heritage unit. Via rail SURELY can’t be stupid enough to screw up the color of a stripe, which is not only in hundreds of photos, but was also an iconic color of via. SURELY
My favourite was the New Flyer with the driver on the speaker. I noticed it's hub reduction axle which I've never seen before. I'd like to know what engine it's got. Sounded to have either a Voith or Renk gearbox. Sounded a lot like a MAN bus.
